Christian Education - It's for Life!
| Christian Education is for the very young to the very old! Wonderful things happen in all our classes throughout the week! We now have approximately 200 people registered for our weekly classes. Christian Education is lifelong, life-giving, and is connected to the Source of life! It provides a place for new people and all of us, to make friends and learn to grow as disciples. To enjoy Christian Education through study, reading the Bible, praying and group discussion deepens our understanding of God’s activity in all parts of life and makes us want to go forth and make disciples of others! |
Our Wonderful Wednesday will start back up again on January 18th. Everyone is invited! There are no prerequisites for the studies, there is no charge. Child care is offered for the Wed evening studies (See "Children's Wed Night of Food and Fun"). Invite your friends and neighbors! Click Here for more information on Wonderful Wednesday and Alpha

Disciple Bible Study I - Becoming Disciples through Bible Study
- Would you be interested in an in-depth Bible study that is a comprehensive overview of the Old and New Testaments?
- Would you like to read and study the Bible for at least one-half hour each day?
- Would you like to gather with other “disciples” each week for two hours to delve more deeply into each lesson and to watch a video component which gives insights of biblical scholars to see the Scriptures in context?
If so, we have the class for you. Loa Herbert will be facilitating a Disciple I class beginning on Tuesday morning, September 27 from 10:30 to 12:30 at the church. There will be a charge for the Participants Study Manual.
Disciple I is a 34 week course which will be offered over the next two years. The Old Testament will be studied for nine weeks this fall and another eight weeks in winter of 2012. The New Testament will be studied in fall of 2012 and winter of 2013. While information is gained through Disciple I, the aim is transformation – for persons to be changed by the power of God’s Word – and thereby become disciples.
Please contact Loa Herbert (297-6038 or loamay50@gmail.com) or the church office if you are interested in participating in Disciple I.
