Worship

Two worship services are offered on Sunday mornings.  An informal service begins at 8:30 am, followed by a time for coffee, light snacks and fellowship at 9:30 am.  Sunday School for all ages begins at 9:45 am.   A social hour with refreshments following the 11:00 Service is held every third Sunday of the Month.

Every Friday Morning at 11:15 am, a time of Prayer for Healing and Wholeness is offered for those in need of healing prayers for themselves, family members or friends. Whether it’s for body, mind or spirit, our prayers ask for the healing, restoration and wholeness only God can provide.

Baptisms and induction of new members usually occurs on the third Sunday of the month.

Our worship services include participation by our laity as announcers, Scripture readers, acolytes, ushers and greeters. In preparation for each service, members of the altar guild, communion stewards, banner designers and bulletin production also assist behind the scenes in the worship experience.

Second only to our Pastor’s message on Sunday mornings, is the inspiration provided by the Music ministry at Bethlehem. Our Pianist, Organist/Choir Director, Adult Choir, and Bells fill our hearts and lift our spirits with their talents shared for the glory and praise to God.

A special candle has been ordered that will be used in place of the flower arrangement on the altar.  If members desire, they make a special donation to have the candle burned during worship in honor or memory of loved ones.
